A unit of Kerala Catholic youth movement has been working in the parish even before since its inception in Kerala Catholic Church. This unit was in existence in the name Yuvajyothi. The unit involves actively in all sorts of social actions. The unit members have won many awards in Diocesan level and state level. In the parish too the KCYM organizes free medical camps, leadership training and career guidance classes. The parish KCYM has hosted the diocesan KCYM Kalolsavam many times. During Makaram Perunnal we put up a stall to sell drinks and snacks to the devotees and pilgrims and users the money raised by this for charity works.
